Your Home Is Now A Product
|
Just like buying a new
suit... Your
house is now a Product... and if it doesn't fit...
nobody will buy it. |

Just like going shopping for a
new suit, your home is going to
be shopped for a good fit,
value, and overall condition.
I see lots of homes where
the seller wants top dollar for
their home, but they are
unwilling to make necessary
repairs and do the general
spruce-up of the property that
is required. But think of it
this way, if you want the best
price for yur home, it needs to
be in the best condition
possible or nobody will look at
it.
There is a lot of
competition out there and you
have to stand out from the rest
of the pack to be seen as a
value!
With that in
mind, you need to be looking at your home with a
completely new attitude. You need to look at you house
as if it were a product. Just like buying a new
computer, or even worse... a new car. |
|
|
That means you have to take aim at
the house, the clutter, and the condition and make some
changes. There is always room for improvement here, and
if a house looks too small, weary and worn for your
family, it will appear that way for any potential buyer
that comes along.
I'm not saying that your home isn't
going to make the grade, but buyers are looking for the
same things you are in your next house. They don't want
to move in and have to start painting, and fixing a lot
of deferred maintenance. Making the condition of the
property the best it can be will help bring a solid
price at the time of sale.

Over the years I've seen many homes
that could have sold faster, but were passed over
because they looked small and worn. When you are
considering selling, give me a call and I will be glad
to stop by and show you where you need to make
improvements, de-clutter, and maybe even a bit of paint.
I'm not going to suggest that you completely remodel the
house, but some small changes from a different
perspective can make a big difference in how fast your
home will sell.
